The fit out of our rooms is now well underway. One of our design criteria was to have a high level of soundproofing to maintain patient privacy. Double-sheeting the walls with two different types of Gyprock and filling the cavity with acoustic insulation material will achieve this.
The air conditioner and ducting have also been installed, as have the plumbing and electrical services. The next stage of work will include the completion of the walls and installation of the ceiling.
